Extra Nate: The 300th Anniversary of Words About Books
As everybody who is anybody knows, the Words About Books Blog was started in 1725 by Sir Benjamin Edward and his friend Duke Nathaniel Creed Wellington IV. Of course back then a blog was written on books forged from the fresh wool of a sheep and then bound together in covers made out of pure poison.
It’s no secret that this blog has inspired many modern works. From Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, to the cosmic horror of H P Lovecraft (unfortunately), to even the Declaration of Independence itself. Words About Books has been there, inspiring more inspirational works with our biting commentary and our iron will.
No you can’t see the original blog anymore. It’s top secret. It also only comes out once every 5 years for tours. Also there are copies of it everywhere on the internet, you can just look for yourself. You might be thinking “why is this written like the humor and the references come from the 2020s?” To which I say to you this: can you climb this 50 foot ladder for me? There’s something I need to get way up there. Just way, way up there. Yeah keep going. Me? No I’m afraid of heights, I’ll just watch and hold the ladder steady.

Anyway we would like to celebrate the 300th anniversary of our blog being launched by taking this time to tell you that the original manuscripts are being archived, never to be seen again. Terribly sorry. Not even scholars are allowed to read them anymore. You CAN make an appointment to see the replicas and recreations.
